Through the lens of polyvagal theory, you will learn how the vagus nerve is a bidirectional information highway between mind and body. More importantly, you will learn to fine-tune mental and physical health with breath, movement, and awareness practices.
June Session: Center & Balance
In this session, we will deepen our exploration of yoga practices that help you access a greater sense of safety and connection in the here-or-now. We will focus on interoceptive sensing of the body and dive into a wider range of conscious breathing and vagal toning practices that allow you to adjust your physiological state, which enhances your capacity to respond to challenging or potentially destabilizing situations. These strategies aim to enhance both psychological and physiological resilience while focusing on brain and body integration.
