Yoga Pod podFIT Teacher Training
April 4th - April 30th, 2026
Empower yourself, transform your body, and learn to teach during our podFIT fitness based training program.
Whether you want to teach, or cultivate discipline to prioritize your overall fitness program, our podFIT teacher training will equip you with the necessary tools to feel successful. Share your fitness practice as a teacher or enjoy the benefits of refining your alignment and understanding of your body for a sustainable, intentional practice you can commit to for life.

In designing this program, we wanted to create an experience that is affordable, flexible, and inspiring.
During this training you will receive personalized attention and instruction from our experienced facilitators to build strength and confidence in your own body.
Not only will you build your own skills and fitness, we will teach you practical tools to effectively and safely instruct a group fitness class that will have your students coming back for more!

Derise ANJANETTE

Derise Anjanette, 500 E-RYT, YACEP has been a student and teacher of yoga for over 25 years. She aspires to infuse her classes with unique transitions and intelligent cueing. Her passion is in supporting students’ growth to feel stronger, more resilient and more comfortable in their own skin. Her teaching style emphasizes the cultivation of radical self-acceptance and accessing power through sensitivity and compassion rather than force. She draws her inspiration from multiple different yogic styles and fitness regimens and one will find elements of her many studied disciplines in all her classes. She has facilitated over a dozen 200-hour teacher training programs in the Boulder area and has trained some of Boulder’s most well-known and beloved teachers.

I am in a long term committed relationship with Yoga and Fitness. After my first yoga class in 1994 I knew that my path revolved around the healing benefits of both yoga and fitness. Upon arrival in Boulder in 2004 it felt like home. I completed my first 200 hour training in 2011 and subsequent trainings in 2014,(hot yoga) 2015(yin yoga) and 2016(fitness). It is a joy and honor in my life to teach both online and live classes in Boulder, Colorado. I hope to provide a welcoming space for you to further explore the nature of your body and strength.
Frequently Asked Questions
+ Do I need to be an advanced student to enroll in Teacher Training?
Absolutely not! Teacher Training is suitable for students at any point in their journey. You will get to practice a lot and receive individual coaching from your lead teachers and will certainly get stronger and advance your practice through this program.
+ What payment plans do you offer?
Generally, we do not offer payment plans for this training. You can reserve your place in the training with a $200 deposit, with the remaining balance due at the beginning of the program. However, we’re happy to work with you to come up with a payment schedule if you need some additional support.
+ Is it okay to miss one or two dates during training?
Life happens! And we understand conflicts or illnesses might keep you from making a session or two of teacher training. If you do have to miss an in person session, we will work together to help you make up any missed work. Let’s talk about the best plan for you.
