BREATHE TO HEAL
FACILITATOR TRAINING
June 16 - 21 2026 ✻ Yoga Pod South Boulder (Boulder, CO)
Your breath IS THE GATEWAY TO emotional HEALING — fear, grief, anxiety, inner restlessness. When we learn to breathe in ways that meet our nervous system’s needs, we calm fear, release emotional holding, and strengthen CONNECTION WITH OURSELF AND OTHERS.
Alleviating anxiety, depression and panic-attacks is one of the most pressing matters in today’s society. Conventional methods like talk-therapy do their part, but it’s often not enough. The Breathe to Heal system has proven highly successful at accelerating emotional healing, getting to the core of symptoms like anxiety, depression and panic attacks and has proven highly successful for therapists, social and health professionals, coaches, and (yoga) teachers who added Max’s method to their healing repertoire.
Max lives in the Netherlands and travels to the United States just once per year. This is his only facilitator training in the U.S. in 2026 — a rare opportunity to study his work live, in an intimate group setting.
“Our aim as teachers is to facilitate post-traumatic healing and arrive at post-traumatic freedom.”
- Max Strom
Discover the Philosophy Behind the Practice
In his TEDx talk “Breathe to Heal”, viewed more than 4 million times, Max Strom shares how conscious breathing can transform our relationship with anxiety, emotional pain, and happiness itself. This talk offers a powerful introduction to the principles behind the Breathe to Heal system and the deeper work explored throughout this training.
What will this training cover?
This training is a 6-day, in-person Breathwork Teacher Training designed to help you personally experience the Breathe to Heal system and learn how to share it skillfully with others.
This work will reveal a new understanding of the interconnectedness between anxiety, loneliness, and un-reconciled grief.— and how these experiences live in the body and nervous system. Through direct breathwork practice, you’ll learn how releasing suppressed emotions can restore calm, deepen relationships, and support emotional resilience in daily life.
The training is experiential and embodied, allowing you to integrate the work authentically — not just understand it conceptually.
Max’s work is accessible to people of all fitness levels and backgrounds. No previous experience is required.
This training is especially meaningful for yoga teachers, therapists, medical and healthcare professionals, coaches, and facilitators, as well as anyone drawn to deepen their personal healing through the breath. You do not need to be a teacher to benefit from this transformational work!
“More than anyone else, Max Strom has shaped the focus and direction of my life. He is directly responsible for the depth and breadth of my yoga foundation that serves me everyday as a teacher and in service of others.”
