Heather Hottovy
Heather’s yoga journey began at the age of 10 after being diagnosed with scoliosis, which first brought her to the practice as a way to support and understand her body. What started as physical healing quickly opened into a lifelong path of awareness, curiosity, and connection between body and mind. Over time, that early practice evolved into a deeper study of movement, consciousness, and the human experience.
Heather is an E-RYT 500 yoga teacher, personal trainer, and continuing education provider with over 10 years of experience guiding students through intelligent, intentional movement and mindful awareness. She blends functional strength with intuitive flow, creating classes that are grounding, empowering, and accessible. A dedicated student of consciousness and the mind, Heather is constantly reading and exploring new perspectives, bringing that curiosity into her teaching in a grounded, relatable way. Music is also central to her life and classes, which are thoughtfully curated to create an immersive experience. Heather continues to teach at Planet Bluegrass festivals, including RockyGrass and the Rocky Mountain Folks Festival, where yoga, music, and community naturally intersect.
