Julia Horn

JULIA began yoga at an early age by crawling around on a practicing mama in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina. This was the beginning of a life-long study and curiosity. The rich flora and fauna of the Appalachian forest informed her down to the bone and became life-long companions to her yoga. Julia has traveled the world as dancer, student, and teacher, studying at the feet of yogic masters of every ilk and synthesizing what she collected along the way so that she could sprinkle it out to others.
Julia is incredibly grateful for the wide array of wisdom she has gathered. A life-long commitment to self growth, uncovering every stone, and leaning into the healing arts full throttle, have brought more depth, width, and breadth to her life than she could have imagined possible. She is also inspired by art, literature, science, and is often caught dorking down on her anatomy books. She has cobbled together a path in and through that was both her saving grace and her greatest joy.
Julia loves dancing it out and slowing it down. She adores sharing what she has learned and is passionate about helping people feel incredible in their bodies so that they can show up big in their lives. She loves hiking, reading, movies, music, friends, family, and food.
Her diverse performance background, small mountain-town upbringing, and unfolding life as rambler and curious investigator, infuse her teaching and coaching with a rich, artistic, and nature-driven vision that inspires students of all levels.
