Julie Freed
Julie’s yoga classes are focused on breath-initiated movement while guiding students into body awareness and presence through asana and deep listening. A welcoming feeling of kindness and an invitation to deep self-care are offered.
She has an eclectic background which includes over 30 years in health, wellness, dance, tai chi, telemark skiing, ballet and gymnastics. In addition to teaching yoga, she is a certified nutritionist and classical homeopath, owned a health food store and is a death doula, dream tender and facilitator of family constellations/ancestral healing circles.
Some of her favorite things are traveling the world, reading, hiking, gardening, cooking, jigsaw puzzles, swimming in the ocean, learning anything new and spending time with family and friends.
