Behind the Scenes: 30th Street Refresh Recap

There's more to the studio refresh than meets the eye...

If the new floors were the first thing you noticed when you came back to 30th Street, we don’t blame you. They’re a pretty major upgrade.

But while the studio was closed for one week in July, we decided to make the most of every minute. What began as a flooring project quickly became an opportunity to give the entire studio some love.

Behind the scenes, crews were painting, sanding, deep cleaning, steam cleaning, power washing, polishing, landscaping — and tackling plenty of the less glamorous work that makes a big difference. A whole lot of time, sweat and dedication went into refreshing 30th Street from top to bottom — some of it you may never see, but we think you’ll absolutely feel.

So, what exactly did we accomplish in one week? Quite a lot. Nearly every inch of 30th Street got some attention:

  • Brand-new sheet vinyl flooring installed throughout the lobby and hallway

  • All three studio rooms freshly painted from wall to wall

  • Metal door frames throughout the studio repainted for a cleaner, more polished finish

  • Office walls facing the lobby refreshed with new color to brighten up the space

  • Locker rooms professionally deep cleaned from top to bottom, including the exposed ducts and pipes overhead

  • Locker room tile grout professionally steam cleaned

  • The entire lobby professionally deep cleaned, including hard-to-reach overhead ducts and pipes

  • Interior air ducts professionally cleaned throughout the lobby and locker rooms

  • Women’s locker room refreshed with paint touch-ups

  • Outdoor metal benches sanded and repainted

  • Front sidewalk power washed

  • Fresh decorative rock added to the front landscaping

  • Front parking area thoroughly swept and cleaned up

  • Wooden rental mat return bin buffed and oiled to bring the finish back to life

Now comes the best part: filling the space back up with all of you. 💚

We’re so happy to have you back at 30th Street—and we’d love to hear what you think of the updates!
