Katherine “Kitty” Moore
Kitty has been teaching yoga full-time for 27 years. She came to yoga when she was broke and desperate, living remotely in a foreign country and needed a job. Someone offered her money to teach yoga through adult ed and she jumped at it even though she had never done it. She studied a few books and began. Thousands of hours of training, 4 yoga studios in multiple states, 4 children and many, many cats later she has dedicated her life to the practice that changed hers. Known for her sense of humor, spiritual focus, precise cueing, and storytelling she’s a Sanskrit, Yoga Sutra, and Samkhya philosophy geek who loves to share the wisdom and beauty of the ancient practice. She’s a Para Yoga certified 4 Desires Teacher, a Para Yoga and Himalayan Institute 500 E-RYT and a Yoga Alliance YACEP teacher and intends to be a life-long student.
